Anointed Ministries concert is Feb. 25

Ohio University Christian student organization Anointed Ministries will host a free concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Baker University Center Ballroom.

The concert is a chance for Christians to fellowship and worship collectively. Performances for the event include Anointed Praise (choir), Hallel Praise Dance (dance group), Unspoken Praise (mime group) and a special guest singer.

"It is guaranteed to be an unforgettable event," said Brittainy Erby, event organizer. "It is a place where you are truly free to worship the Lord and come to Him with anything that you may need."

The theme of this year's concert is "Freedom." According to Erby, "this concert is all about finding your freedom in the Lord."

Anointed Ministries consists of various sectors to include all students that share a love for God. The different branches of Anointed Ministries include weekly bible studies, a choir and a dance ministry. These branches travel the state to spread their praise.

"It is important to stay grounded in college, and we realize this," said Erby. "So this concert is for ministry and to give the people an opportunity to renew their relationship with Christ or to just come to worship. Everyone is welcome!"
