From staff reports
On Wednesday, Ohio University Registrar Debra Benton sent an e-mail to all faculty and staff updating them on resources and tools for advisors and instructors.
Dear Faculty and Staff,
This is a follow-up message to my May 6, 2011, e-mail message (http://www.ohio.edu/compass/stories/10-11/5/registrar-advising-update-may-2011.cfm).
The course offerings for fall quarter are available; on the Schedule of Classes (http://www.ohio.edu/registrar/info/FALL2011-12/) for Fall 2011-12 click Course Offerings.
Advisee Lists tool will be available beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, from the Registrar's website (http://www.ohio.edu/registrar) by clicking on Faculty & Advising Center:
Students were not given RACs to prevent registration for fall, but instead all undergraduate students have a priority registration advising hold that prevents registration.
Please use the Advisee Lists to release the priority registration hold for your students.
A Frequently Asked Question page is being developed and is available as a link from within the Advisee Lists tool.
This is a link to screenshots of the tool (http://www.ohio.edu/oit/rufus/advisee-lists-tool-preview.cfm).
If you have questions please call Yvonne Nice, 740-593-4213, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following items are not currently available in the tool, but will be at a future date:
Class Lists will be available later this quarter.
Textbook system will be available later this quarter.
We appreciate your patience as we work to bring all of the new systems online.
