With spring comes thunderstorms and the start of tornado season in Ohio. To help Ohioans prepare for possible severe weather, there will be a statewide tornado drill tomorrow at 9:50 a.m.
According to a press release from the Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness, “During this time, Ohio counties will sound their outdoor warning sirens. Schools, businesses and households are encouraged to practice their tornado drills and emergency plans.”
The drill is part of Gov. John Kasich’s new initiative, Severe Weather Awareness Week*, which runs March 20-26.
