Graduate student artists find "Safety in Numbers"

The First Year Graduate Student Exhibition, "Safety in Numbers," will be showing in the Trisolini Gallery in the Baker University Center starting Tuesday, Feb. 8 and running through March 3.

This exhibition will showcase new contemporary artworks by first year master of fine art graduate students.

This show highlights a vibrant and eclectic collection of artwork highlighting a variety of artistic media including ceramics, graphic design, printmaking, painting, photography and video.  This exhibition provides an opportunity to show new work done by the students, as well as allow them to participate in a unique dialogue among fellow peers, instructors and the public.

This event is all student organized and run.  The exhibition lets the students work collaboratively as a way of engaging the local community through their art.

This event is free and open to the public. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held on Feb. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m.
