Earlier this fall, the Ohio University College of Arts and Sciences recognized some of its most distinguished alumni at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner and Ceremony.
The Spirit Award was awarded to Cara Dingus Brook and Christopher D. Newell and the Outstanding Friend of the College honor was presented to Carolyn C. Montgomery.
Distinguished Alumni Awards were given to Stanley P. Abrams, Carl A. Alexander, John M. Haseley and Mark M Littler.
The College of Arts and Sciences has more than 4,400 undergraduates working toward bachelor’s degrees and 700 students working toward advanced degrees.
Since its inception, graduates of the college have gone on to accomplish great things and the awards ceremony is a way to celebrate those individuals who have exemplified its mission.
