Ohio University will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, in observance of the national Labor Day holiday. The closure includes all five regional campuses and the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The university will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 7, operating under normally scheduled hours and with classes beginning on all campuses.
Although the university is officially closed, there is plenty of action on Athens campus Monday afternoon as new students participate in the President's Convocation at 2:30 p.m. followed by the annual march to the through the College Gate and Student Involvement Fair. Check out the full schedule of activities for new students.
