OHIO Hockey names captains for 2016-17 season
OHIO Hockey has selected senior forward Patrick Spellacy and junior defenseman Jake Faiella to serve as assistant captains for next season while senior forward Matthew Hartman was named captain.

The American Collegiate Hockey Association has released its 2015-16 Academic All-Americans, and two OHIO Hockey student-athletes, Vincent Nicolella and Tyler Pecka, were honored.

OHIO Track & Field wins All-Ohio Championship
The Ohio track & field team picked up a team win at the All-Ohio Track & Field Championship scoring 244 points Saturday at Goldsberry Track. Ohio picked up nine first-place finishes.

Women's Basketball defeats Miami and earns top seed in MAC Tournament
In its final tune-up before this year's Mid-American Conference Tournament, the Ohio women's basketball team defeated rival Miami, 77-58, in the `Battle of the Bricks. Ohio finished the regular season 24-5 and 16-2 in the MAC.

OHIO community successfully rallies for GameDay Recycling Challenge
On Oct. 17, Ohio University competed against colleges and universities across the nation in the 2015 GameDay Recycling Challenge, a waste reduction and recycling competition. More than 22,000 football game attendees recycled and composted 7,225 pounds of materials for a 96 percent diversion rate from landfills. That’s almost a third of the weight of the entire Bobcat football team.
