Ohio University will join thousands of local organizers to celebrate America Recycles Day, a national initiative of Keep America Beautiful, with a Zero Waste Week of events from November 14 – 20, 2015, to raise awareness about recycling and waste on campus.

The Ohio softball program has released its upcoming 2016 schedule. The schedule includes five teams from last year’s NCAA Tournament, two teams out of the SEC, two from the Big 10, one Big 12 team and three teams from the ACC.
|OHIO community successfully rallies for GameDay Recycling Challenge|
On Oct. 17, Ohio University competed against colleges and universities across the nation in the 2015 GameDay Recycling Challenge, a waste reduction and recycling competition. More than 22,000 football game attendees recycled and composted 7,225 pounds of materials for a 96 percent diversion rate from landfills. That’s almost a third of the weight of the entire Bobcat football team.

The Mid-American Conference announced today the Distinguished Scholar Athletes from 16 winter and spring sports during this 2014-15 academic season as 359 student-athletes were voted by faculty athletic representatives at MAC institutions representing the ‘best of the best’ from each sports Academic All-MAC Teams.
