Five Bobcats earn All-MAC Soccer honors

Former medical school dean remembered as pioneer
Frank W. Myers, D.O., who served as dean of the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine for much of its first two decades, passed away on Monday, Nov. 19. He helped create the medical school in 1976 and was dean from 1977 to 1993.

This transition will ensure the University’s continued ability to deliver approved fonts access to colleges and units and advance the OHIO brand. The conversion is also anticipated to provide significant cost savings to the University.

Nominations for Outstanding Administrator Award being accepted through Dec. 14
The nomination form can be submitted online and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. A selection committee comprised of administrators, faculty, classified staff, an undergraduate and a graduate student will review nominations for the award. Selection of the recipients will be based on exemplary job performance and accomplishments.

McCracken Hall is OHIO’s first full building to receive LEED Gold Certification
The Patton College of Education’s McCracken Hall achieved LEED Gold certifi-cation from Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, thus showing its commitment to sustainability. It is the first full building on campus to earn Gold status.
