Patton College of Education dedicates newly renovated McCracken Hall
The $32.8 million renovation was McCracken’s first one since it was built in 1959. The project increased the building’s square feet from 66,000 to 100,500 and added an extra floor and a four-story addition.

Graduate student summer pay cycle to change
The Graduate Student pay schedule will change beginning May 2017. This change will more closely align the graduate pay schedule with the academic calendar, and with when work is being performed. As a result of this change, Summer I pay dates will be paid in the appropriate fiscal year.

MDIA’s 15th annual 48-hour Shootout competition scheduled for Feb. 3-5
During the Shootout, teams of students from the School of Media Arts & Studies come together to form a cast and crew, write a script and shoot and edit a film all in under 48-hours. The three-to-five-minute student films will then be screened at a free event on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
