Washington Post Reviews Ohio University Press Book

The Washington Post's book critic, Michael Dirda, reviewed "The Wife of Martin Guerre," a title published this month by Ohio University Press's Swallow Press imprint. Dirda called the book one of the most perfect examples of the short novel.

"The Wife of Martin Guerre" was originally written in the 1940s by Janet Lewis, and it has been a successful Swallow Press backlist title for years. Recently, Ohio University Press has undertaken a "rebranding" of its Swallow Press line, identifying key books to publish in new editions. Aside from "The Wife of Martin Guerre," two other Janet Lewis books are being reissued. This fall, Swallow Press is publishing new editions of works by Anaîs Nin.
