What is the CCCE about?
The Center for Campus and Community Engagement (CCCE) serves as the central point of contact for meeting the community engagement needs for:
Faculty and Staff at Ohio University
Community-Based Organizations Locally and Globally
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching describes community engagement as the collaboration between institutions of higher education and their larger communities (local, regional/state, national, global) for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.
The CCCE provides the administrative and educational support services to students, faculty, and members of community-based organizations who wish to employ community engagement practices for the mutual benefit of students and the community.
