Academic Advising

The relationship between our students and their academic advisors is important to us. When you enroll in the College, you will be assigned an academic advisor in your declared major. If you are undecided about a major, your academic advisor will be a member of the dean's office staff while you are exploring your opportunities; when you have declared a major, an advisor in that field will be assigned.

You will meet with your advisor each quarter to review your progress. We think it is important for students to get to know their advisors and teachers beyond advising sessions. Therefore, the College regularly sponsors events such as advising luncheons, college picnics and an annual ice skating party, at which you and your advisor can get to know each other while having some fun.

If you are a current student and do not know who your academic advisor is or you are interested in one of our programs and would like to speak to an academic advisor, please contact Sara White, Retention and Advising Coordinator, at
