Social Service Minor

  • For students wishing to expand their understanding of the social work field and how social workers and agencies function.
  • Provides students knowledge of the ways that social work improves well-being for individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities.
  • Students will also become informed on social work values of excelling in teaching scholarship, and service; social and economic justice; dignity and worth of all persons; the importance of human relationships; integrity; and competence.
