Welcome, Alumni and Friends of OHIO's College of Health Sciences and Professions!
Our alumni are an important part of our family. They are more than 33,000 strong and live in nearly every state in the U.S. and in multiple countries throughout the world. They make an impact on their individual communities and the world through their passion and commitment to health professions.
Our alumni and friends are advisors, recruiters, ambassadors, and mentors. They inspire current students-the future generations of health professionals-and to remain connected to CHSP through various activities.
Each year we connect with various alumni groups at professional conferences and conventions, so be sure to check our events calendar regularly to see where we will be. You can ensure that we have your correct contact information by updating your alumni profile. Another great way to stay in touch is by sending personal and career updates for Class Notes to chspalumni@ohio.edu. And know that you are always welcome back to Athens for a visit and tour of our facilities. While you're here, consider connecting with current students as a guest lecturer. Your life experiences could provide an important link to a current student's future.
Alumni Communications
The official magazine of the College of Health Sciences and Professions, Connect, is a bi-annual publication offering our alumni and friends a chance to connect with the college and each other, as well as learn about events, activities, and achievements. We also send out Connecting Point, a bimonthly e-newsletter of news briefs and events.
Society of Alumni and Friends
Here at the College of Health Sciences and Professions (CHSP), we have several active alumni groups with which you can become involved.
The College's Society of Alumni and Friends (SAF) is the primary liaison group between CHSP and alumni. Its mission is to serve as a link between current students and alumni to provide networking, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. You are already a member? just by being a graduate of the college. But by being involved you can help guide the group's programming and connectedness to current students.
