Dean McCarthy shares congratulatory message with the Class of 2021
Many of OHIO's Class of 2021 will celebrate during Fall Commencement on Saturday, December 11.

Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions' Interim Dean Dr. John McCarthy shares his congratulations and excitement for the future in this brief message to CHSP graduates.

Hello graduates, family members, and friends, I’m Dr. John McCarthy, interim dean of the College of Health Sciences and Professions, one of the nation’s largest health-focused colleges and a leader in population health.

During your time with us, we have connected you with the expert faculty, community partners, and award-winning programs and research opportunities to think bigger about health, and to approach health through a variety of lenses.

Whether your future leads you to the next phase of your education, into a major city hospital, or on backroads leading to underserved rural communities, the experiences you have accrued here at OHIO will stay with you and guide you to build better health outcomes, one person and community at a time.

I’m so proud to welcome this class of talented students to our illustrious global network of alumni. We can’t wait to see what you’ll do next.

Congratulations!
