Accreditations

The professional program began in 1972 and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). OHIO's program promotes high practice standards by providing quality classroom and clinical education experiences. The program promotes development of the athletic training profession through research publications. The program also encourages student attendance at professional meetings and involvement with state, district and national athletic training organizations.
