The College of Health Sciences and Professions embraces hands-on clinical experience for our students. Clinical activity is crucial as we train students to become highly skilled professional practitioners.
Clinical activity can take place on campus in simulation laboratories and in community clinics, such as the Hearing, Speech and Language Clinic, the Physical Therapy Clinic, the Psychology and Social Work Clinic and WellWorks and HeartWorks. Additionally, we place a number of Athletic Training students yearly in community schools and our School of Nursing has partnerships with numerous hospitals in order to provide clinical sites for student nurses.
