Standing Together: Fighting Our Community’s Opioid Epidemic

Sam Quinones, author of  Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic, will visit the Athens area Wednesday, Oct. 11 through Friday, Oct. 13. During his time in the area, Quinones will be speaking at several different locations. Please join us in welcoming Quinones to the area as well as hearing about how we can stand together to fight our community's opioid epidemic. We hope to see you there!

Join a book club!  Roundtables are planned at the public libraries in Athens and Nelsonville in late September to discuss  Dreamland and personal experiences. Information is available at www.myacpl.org/events. A book club is also taking place Tuesday evenings from 5-6:30 p.m. at Ohio University Alden Library Room 301. Discussion questions are available here
