Community Partners

As it has on other Ohio University campuses, the College of Health Sciences and Professions is forging partnerships to provide clinical experience for students and continuing its tradition of community outreach.

Clinical Experiences

OhioHealth will provide clinical rotations for 15 physician assistant students during their 12-month clinical rotations. OhioHealth has also partnered with CHSP to provide clinical rotations for 10 dietetics interns.

Many other practitioners and facilities across the state have offered their support in the education of our new Physician Assistant students.

Community Outreach

CHSP has partnered with high schools and career and technical centers in Central Ohio to give students opportunities to explore the health professions. These immersive experiences introduce students to the various health degree programs offered through CHSP, as well as to the academic rigor that is required in higher education. Current partners include Dublin City Schools, Hilliard City Schools, Marysville Exempted School District, Olentangy Local Schools, and Tolles Career and Technical Center.
