Ohio University - Chillicothe Giving Circle - OHIOwomen
The Ohio University - Chillicothe Giving Circle – Ohiowomen was formed in November 2010 to promote the arts, encourage volunteerism, support the wellness program, advance mentoring programs, enhance social service programs, become aware of Chillicothe’s historical heritage and participate in activities that support Ohio University - Chillicothe students. The events scheduled by the Giving Circle are open to the public to connect OUC with the community. The Giving Circle believes that women who are engaged to make a significant difference on campus promote educational excellence.
The OUC Giving Circle Ohiowomen has a Governing Board with no more than 15 voting members and includes the Development Officer at OUC. The quarterly meetings are open to all women. The Governing Board shall establish the yearly programs. The Giving Circle shall also seek grant and funding opportunities to support the mission of the organization. We welcome women who can donate time, talent or finances to become involved in the Giving Circle’s projects. Contact Joyce Atwood for more information about the organization at 740-774-7732. You can also gain information from the governing members.
