Degree & Certificate Programs Offered On Our Campus
Besides a great selection of full degree programs, OUC offers a broad array of courses at the Chillicothe Campus. OUC organizes academic subject areas into three divisions as seen below. To learn more about a particular subject area, please click on its corresponding link below. The Ohio University Undergraduate Catalog, Online Course Inventory, and Undergraduate Majors Catalog can also be used to learn about disciplines recently offered in any subject area at Ohio University – Chillicothe, or other campuses.
Each regional campus offers programming within the academic divisions based on needs of their service area. Many technology and multiple bachelor’s degrees can be taken on the Chillicothe campus. Some degrees may be pursued across the campuses via online delivery. General education classes required for all majors are offered as well, enabling students to make degree progress and then transfer to the Athens campus for their desired degree.
There are a variety of full degree and certificate options available to students at the Ohio University Chillicothe Campus. These are discussed further below. Of course, the campus also provides access to the beginning requirements for many degrees within the Ohio University system or at other colleges or universities.
Beyond traditional instruction, the Chillicothe Campus offers a variety of one- or two-day credit workshops, fully online courses and hybrid courses, which provide a mix of online and face-to-face instruction, and an extensive selection of summer courses for current and transient students. In addition, the campus hosts high school students under the CCP (College Credit Plus) option. The Chillicothe Campus also reaches into the community with non-credit workshops, business and corporate training, the 60+ program for senior citizens.
