Ohio University Chillicothe is working to help provide emergency food as part of a partnership response for COVID-19. The effort is funded by a grant from the OHIO Office of Campus and Community Engagement. The Student Social Work Association at Chillicothe lead by Stacey Saunders-Adams, assistant professor, is providing grant funding for meals for people served by Ross County Recovery and Outreach.
The COVID-19 response work also involves collaboration with faculty members Joy Shytle and Nicole Stumbo at Ohio University Southern, the Student Social Work and Student Nurses Associations to provide hygiene kits in partnership with the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency.
