Sarah Horvath is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at Ohio University. She is primarily interested in the influence of sociocultural risk factors and how these interact with biological and environmental influences to impact the etiology and maintenance of body dissatisfaction and eating disorders. She hopes her research will help increase the understanding of the link between cultural standards of appearance and eating pathology and ultimately contribute to new methods of intervention. During her free time, she likes attending concerts, hiking, trying new recipes, and watching her favorite reality shows and crime dramas.
