Send it to Space

Preparing for spaceflight. The BRIC 20 research team poses in front of the NASA "meatball" outside the visitor center at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The team was at Kennedy for a preflight experiment and took a break to go to the visitor center. From left : Dr. Sarah Wyatt, professor, and Proma Basu, M.S. student, both from Ohio University, with their collaborators, Dr. Darron Luesse, Associate Professor, and Sarahann Hutchinson, M.S. student, from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Environmental & Plant Biology students got to take part in sending an experiment to the International Space Station in 2015. And the research on how plants respond to gravity continues in Dr. Sarah Wyatt's lab.
