  • Sediment Geochemistry
  • Geoscience Education

My research utilizes stable isotope geochemistry to reconstruct past changes in climate and environment from lake sediment records. Most of my work had been focused on lakes in the drought-sensitive eastern Sierra Nevada of California. I apply carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen indicators to study the paleoproductivity and carbonate sedimentation records of these sediments with the aim of interpreting changes in hydroclimate.
