Tutoring Sessions for Students

The ELIP Pronunciation and Presentation Lab offers one-on-one pronunciation and presentation skills tutoring sessions to all students taking ELIP oral communication courses.

This service is for native and non-native English speakers who are looking to improve their presentation skills and for non-native English speakers wanting to improve their spoken English intelligibility.

Possible presentation topics include speaking with emotion and emphasizing key words, showing confidence as a presenter, and using volume and speech rate strategically. Sample pronunciation topics include word stress, fluency, intonation patterns, comprehensibility, rhythm, and SPEAK Test preparation.
