ELIP Presentation Lab
Tutoring Sessions for Students
The ELIP Presentation Lab offers one-on-one tutoring sessions to all students.
This service is for those who are looking to improve their presentation skills for defending their theses and dissertations, presenting at conferences, and more. International students from around the world also avail themselves of tutoring in order to improve their spoken English intelligibility.
Possible presentation topics include adding interest to delivery by speaking with emotion and emphasizing key words, showing confidence as a presenter, and using volume and speech rate strategically. Sample pronunciation topics include sounds of speech, word stress, fluency, intonation patterns, rhythm, and SPEAK Test preparation.
