"'Doomed to Success': The United States, the Dual-Track Decision, and the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty"

Dissertation Abstract

My dissertation traces the role of the United States in NATO's dual-track decision of December 12, 1979, and the subsequent intermediate-range nuclear forces (INF) negotiations, which produced the nuclear era's first disarmament agreement, the INF Treaty, in December 1987.
