About Ohio Inorganic Weekend
Ohio Inorganic Weekend is a student-focused meeting for inorganic chemistry groups in Ohio and nearby states. A poster session on Friday evening is followed by student research presentations on Saturday morning and early afternoon. This is a great opportunity for students and postdocs to network and learn about all of the exciting inorganic chemistry research taking place in the region.
This year's OIW is being held at Ohio University, which is located along the Hocking River in the beautiful city of Athens in Southeastern Ohio. Athens is home to many unique local restaurants and breweries, and for those who enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities, Strouds Run State Park is approximately five miles from campus, and several other state parks are within 30 miles of Athens.
