Alumni Affairs

The first Ohio University alumni studied Latin, Greek, rhetoric, English grammar, geography, logic philosophy, literature, classics, astronomy, and various branches of mathematics, all of which still are offered in the College of Arts & Sciences — more than 200 years later.

Today the college graduates nearly 1,500 new alumni each year, and the College of Arts & Sciences is at the center of Ohio University's transformative learning experience. More than one quarter of the University's undergraduate majors are in the college, and all undergraduate students at OHIO — no matter their programs or majors — take courses in College of Arts & Sciences.
