Internships and service learning opportunities help provide real-world experience for students majoring or minoring in African American Studies.
Tynita White '11, '13M, for example, was an Ohio Legislative Intern. She double-majored in African American Studies and Political Science and went on the Master of Public Administration program thorough the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs.
Students can discuss internship and service learning opportunities with their faculty advisers.
