Be a Leader

Aissatou Boye ’20 was selected as a Presidential Leader by former Ohio University President M. Duane Nellis.

The Presidential Leaders are an elite society of student volunteers who give their time and talents to advance the priorities and initiatives of presidential leadership. These premiere students are loyal Bobcats and role models who represent the very best Ohio University has to offer. Students apply to serve for one-year terms and must re-apply at the end of each term for consideration.

A native of Maryland, Boye is majoring in Sociology-Criminology and African American Studies while pursuing a certificate in Law, Justice & Culture. In addition to her curricular pursuits, Aissatou is actively engaged in the pre-law community at Ohio University. She is the New Member Liaison of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and the Secretary for the Undergraduate Black Law Student Association. Additionally, she serves as Secretary of Athens Black Contemporary Dancers.
