Ohio University astrophysics doctoral student Kristyn Brandenburg was recognized at the spring 2018 Stewardship Science Academic Programs symposium, where her poster and presentation received the Outstanding Poster award. Read her story.

Ph.D. student Andrada Mandru won one of three national-level named student awards in October at the AVS (American Vacuum Society) International Symposium in San Jose, CA. She made two presentations at the symposium and also won a second award in the Magnetic Interfaces & Nanostructures Division. Read her story.

He worked on software development and data analysis for a major physics experiment conducted at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.
