Through collaboration with energetic colleagues, engagement with thousands of students, and involvement with the development and implementation of innovative services, the CLDC and Ohio University provide diverse opportunities to forward a career in higher education. Last year, over 19,000 students took part in CLDC programs, events, and individual services – and this number grows annually.
The CLDC is based within Ohio University’s Division of Student Affairs – named among the Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs in 2015 by American College Personnel Association.
Located in Baker University Center at the heart of Ohio University’s main campus, the career center offers beautiful, high quality facilities to students and staff. Going forward, CLDC staff will work toward the vision of a holistic approach to skill development, enriching the lives of individuals by preparing them for a global marketplace and ensuring they are able to fulfill their promise.
The CLDC student ambassador team is a group of dynamic student leaders that are passionate about educating their peers on career and leadership topics. Student Ambassadors support the CLDC’s mission by facilitating workshops, offering peer resume reviews, and assisting with CLDC events and special projects.
