Foundations for First-Year Students

Foundations for First-Year Students is designed to provide first-year students the opportunity to advance their knowledge and training in leadership development. The Career & Leadership Development Center encourages students to gain leadership experience in and outside the classroom.

Through participation in this six-week certificate bearing program, students gain the opportunity to meet other first-year students, better define their own leadership style, and develop leadership skills and habits that will prepare them to be leaders at Ohio University.

Dates:  Monday and Thursday cohorts begin March 14 and March 17

Time:  Each sessions runs from 6:30-8:30pm

Week 3: Leading Yourself

Week 4: Leading Others

Week 5: Habits of Leadership

Week 6: Leaving a Legacy at OHIO

Students interested in taking part do not need to register in advance. Please just come to the first session in the Amanda J. Cunningham Leadership Center, Baker 366.
