Assistant Dean of Students
Imants Jaunarajs serves as the Assistant Dean for the Career & Leadership Development Center. Imants is a creator of innovative and outcome driven career and leadership development best practices. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Earlham College and Master of Arts from Western Michigan University. In the fall of 2012, Imants led the merger of “Career Services” with the “Amanda J. Cunningham Leadership Center” to create the Career & Leadership Development Center. Imants enjoys spending time with family, reading and coaching soccer.
Associate Director for Employer Relations
In his role as Associate Director for Employer Relations, Aaron oversees all employer activity across OHIO’s campus, including, but not limited to, career fairs, networking events, and on-campus interviews. He holds a B.S. in Biology from The University of Rio Grande and a M.S. in Human and Consumer Sciences from Ohio University. Upon graduation, Aaron worked for Kohl’s Department Stores with roles in management and college recruiting, which led to his current position in the CLDC. When Aaron is not at work he loves spending time with family and friends, watching Netflix, baking (and eating) cupcakes, and doing Crossfit.
Associate Director for Career and Leadership Development
Lindsey is the Associate Director in the CLDC, which means she does a little bit of everything: supporting and envisioning career classes, leading staff training and professional development, and her favorite part--working with students and alumni through coaching and mock interview services. Lindsey graduated from Marietta College with a BA in Mass Media: Advertising and Public Relations and earned her MA at Bowling Green State University in College Student Personnel. She has worked in marketing and university housing, in addition to her years in the Career & Leadership Development Center. Lindsey's biggest joy in life is spending time with her family by traveling as much as possible, enjoying delicious food, exploring nature, and making ridiculous jokes.
Research and Assessment Analyst
As Research and Assessment Analyst, Regina Warfel, PhD, oversees all things assessment-related in the CLDC. She thrives on engaging with students and colleagues through coaching and collaborating about assessment projects. In her assessment work, she stays laser focused on our most important quest to continuously improve what we do by developing a deeper understanding of how we’re impacting students. Regina earned a PhD in Psychology at Ohio University and a BS in Psychology at University of California, San Diego and has varied experience in both research and evaluation. Her approach is multi-layered, and includes tracking service usage, measuring students’ learning, motivation, and behavior, and collaborating with departments across campus to share and collect key outcome measures. She loves spending time with friends and family by exercising, sharing meals, traveling, watching movies and shows, playing games, dancing, or just chatting together. She also enjoys reading, and thinking about what her next adventure in life will be.
Assistant Director for the College of Health Sciences and Professions
Zach's role as Assistant Director of the Career & Leadership Development Center for the College of Health Sciences and Professions gives him the chance to work with all stake holders in CHSP and facilitate CLDC resources for them. He currently has a bachelor’s degree from Otterbein University and a master’s degree from Baldwin Wallace University. Zach enjoys spending time at home with his wife and baby, watching sports (Go Browns), and cooking on his Big Green Egg.
Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Marketing
As Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Marketing, Erika provides career coaching and leadership coaching, while overseeing communications and marketing to all OHIO students and employers seeking Bobcats! Her career has spanned numerous industries, including the entertainment field with Participant Media and international community development with the United States Peace Corps. She earned a Master in Education from Colorado State University, specializing in Counseling and Career Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Columbia College Chicago. In addition to enjoying a great job with fantastic colleagues, Erika spends her time jogging through beautiful Athens, socializing with the quirky people who live here, and writing speculative fiction.
Assistant Director for Outreach
As the Assistant Director for Outreach in the CLDC, Jodi provides career coaching and leadership coaching for students and alumni, oversees the Pepsi Scholars program and Student Ambassador team, and oversees the office-wide outreach strategy. She graduated from Ohio University with a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel and worked in the CLDC as a graduate student for two years after receiving a B.S. in Agriculture from The Ohio State University. A few of Jodi's favorite things include laughing with friends, spending time on her family’s farm, and perfecting her pioneer woman-style cooking skills.
Assistant Director for Leadership
Erin Morgenstern serves as the Assistant Director for Leadership, which means she is the leadership curriculum designer and educator for the 21st Century and Professional Leadership Series. As a 2003 alumna of Ohio University, she has over eight years of experience in student affairs and higher education. Outside of the office, Erin serves on the Board of Trustees and is an active volunteer for the Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem Program of Athens County, Ohio. Additionally, she loves Hollywood celebrity news, listening to sci-fi podcasts, gardening and hanging out with her husband, Justin, and dog, Olaf.
Christi provides customer service to students, alumni and employers by setting up, updating and trouble shooting their accounts in Bobcat CareerLink. She has worked at Ohio University since 1988 and joined career services in 2004. A few of Christi's favorite things include weekend trips biking trips, spending time with family and working in the cycle shop.
Business and Technology Manager
As the Business and Technology Manager in the CLDC, Melanie serves as special assistant to the Assistant Dean and department liaison with University Human Resources, while also overseeing technological needs and operations. She graduated from Ohio University with a BS in Recreation Studies and a MS in Physical Education. Melanie has a diverse background including budgets and financial management, procurement and system management. She is passionate about family and friends, working out, and competing in track and field events.
Graduate Assistant for Employer Relations
Madeleine's role at the CLDC involves collaborating with the employer relations team, supporting major event planning, and providing career coaching to students. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Anthropology. After undergrad, Madeleine taught English as a Second Language in Austria. Since the age of nine, she has been playing classical violin and it remains a hobby to this day.
Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Employer Relations
In the CLDC, Gracie meets with a diverse group of students regularly during drop-ins, supervises the Social Media PACE Intern, and collaborates with CLDC staff in the execution of campus-wide events. She is an undergraduate alum of Ohio University, currently a second year in the College Student Personnel M.Ed. program, and in addition to her assistantship at the CLDC, she works at the College of Business Office of Career Management and Hillel. A few of Gracie's favorite things are cooking, watching movies, and hanging out with her cat.
Graduate Assistant for Career and Leadership Devleopment
As the Graduate Assistant for Career and Leadership Outreach in the CLDC, Hannah co-supervises the student ambassador team, helps oversee the leadership certificate programs, and provides drop-in coaching for students and alumni. She began working on her M.Ed. in College Student Personnel in August 2014 after graduating with a B.A. in Political Science and History from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. During undergrad, she was involved with student programming, student government, and Greek life. Hannah loves time with friends, petting puppies, laughing, and drinking coffee.
Graduate Assistant for Special Projects
In her role at the CLDC, Chelsea facilitates the Pepsi Scholars leadership program for first year students, oversees all mock interview services within the department, and assists with drop-in coaching and outreach services. She graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with a B.S. in Community Health, Health Education. Chelsea loves baking, dancing around her apartment, and cheering on her favorite sports teams with family and friends.
Graduate Assistant for Career and Leadership Devleopment
As the Graduate Assistant for Leadership and Outreach in the CLDC, David provides career coaching to students and alumni, supervises the student ambassador team and regularly creates and/or facilitates personal and professional development activities for the team. After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Psychology, and prior to returning to school to pursue a M.Ed. in College Student Personnel at Ohio University, David was an Admissions Counselor at his alma mater (BGSU) and worked closely with the Honors College to engage prospective and current Honors students. Outside of work, David loves time with his wife, Katie, working out, eating delicious food and going on adventures to new places - between Katie and himself, they’ve been to over 30 countries!
