Copeland Hall
Built in 1956 and majorly renovated in the 90s, Copeland Hall has been home to the College of Business since the very beginning. It features both classrooms and administrative offices, meeting and conference rooms, specialty computer labs, four of the COB's Centers of Excellence, and more.
Copeland is within easy walking distance to other university buildings such as Alden Library and Baker Center. Plus, Copeland is right on Court Street in Uptown Athens: Uptown is where you can enjoy some of city’s best local restaurants and shops.

Phil and Pat Muck Business Annex
The Phil and Pat Muck Business Annex (College of Business Annex) opened its doors in fall 2016. The ground floor of the College of Business Annex features classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology and adjustable furniture to promote a collaborative working environment.
The first floor includes breakout rooms where students can gather to plan and develop new ideas for team projects. The third floor features office space for faculty and work spaces for students. The AECOM Center for Sports Administration is located on the third floor to provide an area for graduate sports administration students to gather, collaborate, and relax between classes.
Computer Labs
We've got you covered with five computer labs so you can get on with your business. Hours of operation are as follows:
- Sunday: 6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Summer Hours: by arrangement
Copeland 012 prioritizes scheduled classes, and COB students may use the labs during non-class times. Copeland 018 remains unscheduled.
Additional computers are available at all hours, in Copeland 014. Note that Copeland Hall building access is unavailable from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, and from 12 a.m.–5 a.m. on Sunday. Special event weekends may see further building access restrictions.
College of Business virtual labs are available to all COB students at https://mydesktop.ohio.edu.
College of Business computer labs support student campus-wide printing, and use Bobcat Cash.
Please note that all College of Business faculty, staff, and students must abide by University computer and network use as defined by Ohio University Policy 91.003.
Campus Recreation
From the Ping Center to dozens of club and intramural sports, Ohio University's Campus Recreation has several facilities and programs for all our Bobcats. Campus Recreation
- Ping Center — The 168,000-square-foot building stretches across three floors, and is fully accessible and ADA compliant, so it really does have something for everyone. Enjoy the 36-foot, double-sided climbing wall, five basketball/volleyball courts, two multi-purpose gymnasiums, an elevated four-lane indoor running track, eight racquetball courts and an enclosed glass fitness area. - Club Sports — Each individual club is student-run and many compete at the state and national level. Check out rowing, rugby, water polo, fencing, MMA, synchronized swimming, ultimate frisbee, waterskiing, Quidditch (yes, you read that right) and more!
- Intramural Sports — A nearly 125-year tradition at Ohio University, intramural sports offer individual, dual, and team sports for men, women, and coed teams in a variety of seasonal league and tournament formats. Soccer, volleyball, basketball, kickball, flag football, and broomball are just a few of the intense and fun activities available in the fall and spring.
- But wait, there’s more! — Work on your lap time at the Aquatic Center, try out your ice skating skills at Bird Ice Arena, or hit the links at Ohio University’s Golf Course and Driving Range. Have an adventure with Outdoor Pursuits, or get outside and play some volleyball, basketball, tennis, disc golf, and more.
Dining
Ohio University offers several meal plans for on- and off-campus students, and accepts multiple other payment methods at on-campus cafes and markets. Whether you want to grab a coffee at one of our many cafes, eat with your friends at a dining hall, take your food to go, get groceries at one of the markets, or experience the unique town of Athens, we’ve got you covered.
If you're wanting to explore uptown Athens, there are dozens of off-campus restaurants that are all within walking distance. You can try new food without even needing a car!
Residence Life
Nearly 8,000 students are housed on campus in 42 residence halls. So many housing options make for a vibrant academic, social, cultural, and recreational environment that helps foster both a sense of home and a chance to grow.
For juniors, seniors, graduate students, and other qualifying students, Ohio University also offers apartment housing options. Those interested in sustainability may apply to live at the Ecohouse, which demonstrates affordable green technology and sustainable living in order to inform, engage, and inspire both residents and visitors.
Specialized communities for substance-free, gender-neutral, female-only, and quiet-study living are also available.
Dublin Campus
Just minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio University's Dublin Campus is where the College of Business serves working professionals who are seeking advanced degrees. We offer the Professional MBA program that provides the convenience of virtual classes while building a community among students during monthly Saturday residencies on the Dublin Campus.
