Athens Campus Freshman, Transfer, or International Undergraduate Admission
Applying is the next step to making our Athens, Ohio, campus your home away from home! Ohio University is a member of The Common Application. Applicants are encouraged to apply using The Common Application, which opens annually in August. Please take a moment to review information regarding application procedures and deadlines prior to completing the application for admission and scholarships .
If you are applying for eCampus, you may be an undergraduate student, graduate student, degree-seeking student or not, a high school student, an adult student, or even a student at another university. Learn more about applying to the eCampus program that best fits your needs.
Regional Campus and Center Admission
You can apply directly to OHIO’s Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Southern, and Zanesville campuses, as well as the Proctorville, Pickerington, and Cambridge centers.
Athens Campus Graduate Admission
Before you begin the graduate application, please review the programs in which you are interested; once you have determined that you have found the right program to help you meet your personal and professional goals, review the application requirements and deadlines and gather the necessary documents. These will include copies of academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a résumé, and a personal statement or statement of professional goals. Requirements vary by program, so be sure you have confirmed the information you need to supply to complete the application.
Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Admission
To apply to the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, you must begin by completing the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Services application form. More information regarding the Heritage College application process is available on the Heritage College website.
Re-enroll at OHIO
You are considered to be a "re-enrolling student" if you take a fall or spring semester off (or longer), and then decide to return to Ohio University. Taking the summer off does not make you a re-enrolling student. Students who have not attended since 1985 must complete the Application for Re-enrollment.
