Paw2015Sherman House Historical Tour
Wednesday, May 16
1 - 5:30 p.m.

Visit the birthplace of Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman! This tour will take interested alumni to Lancaster, OH, where they will visit General Sherman’s birth home and learn about the general and Ohio’s role in the Civil War. This program will feature former Alumni College presenter Dr. Brian Schoen from the history department.

Observatory Tour
Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19
9 - 11 p.m.

OHIO alumni are invited to a Telescope Night, hosted by the Ohio University astronomy faculty and students. Visitors may see Lunar craters, Saturn's rings, Jupiter, Mars, star clusters, or distant galaxies, depending on the time of year and sky conditions. Telescope Nights are held at the Ohio University Observatory located at The Ridges on the Athens campus.

The Ridges Today Tour
Saturday, May 19
9-11:00 a.m.

See the old asylum on the hill in a new way this spring. Tour participants will see renovated spaces and their current uses, including the art museum, research labs and Child Development Center. The tour will also include a look at the cottages and unrenovated spaces that are usually off-limits to guests.

Athens Brewery Education Tour
Saturday, May 19
4:15 - 8:15 p.m.

Discover why Athens has become a local destination for craft beers in Ohio. This educational tour will allow you to explore three of the local breweries in Athens, and learn about their brewing process. This tour will explore Little Fish Brewing Co., Devil's Kettle Brewing, and Jackie O's Taproom. The tour will include transportation, some food, and samples at each brewery.
