The McDavis Legacy

The Spring 2017 issue of Ohio Today, rightfully named “Legacy,” celebrates Dr. Roderick J. McDavis’ lasting dedication to OHIO over the past 13 years. McDavis served as OHIO’s 20th president and second-only alumnus to hold the office. In October 2016, the OHIO Alumni Association named McDavis its Alumnus of the Year. Ring! Ring! Bobcats calling

Our student-run Phonathon not only raises support and awareness for Ohio University, it also provides students a chance to hone skills that will take them farther in their future careers. That includes interpersonal and professional skills, such as listening, communication and developing a rapport with alumni and friends at the other end of the wire – you! It also gives them a peek into the world of fundraising and development. Hear from Bobcats about their work at the Phonathon and their success stories. Click here.
