In this photo, library employee Steven Cohen stands at a terminal in Alden Library, using the new online catalog system. Ohio University Libraries implemented ALICE, an online catalog system, in 1983.

 

ALICE is a database that lists library collections items including books, periodicals, video recordings, sound recordings, goverment documents, electronic resources and more. ALICE includes information for the Athens campus and all of the regional campuses as well.
