Nation's Capital selects new president, thanks Walter for service
After several years as vice president of the DC-area chapter, Shara Glickman, BSJ '98, accepted the role of president at the July Board Meeting. Robert L. Walter, AB '90, MA '92, has served as chapter president for the past 11 years. "I had been waiting for someone to stand up and say 'I want to be president,' and I found that in Shara," Walter said. During his tenure as president, Walter increased the number of chapter events and raised funds for chapter scholarships. He was presented with a plaque at the Board meeting thanking him for his years of service.

"I've always enjoyed taking an active role in the organizations I am involved in. I'm grateful for the opportunities OHIO and this chapter have provided to me," said Glickman. "As a chapter leader, I hope to help connect alumni to opportunities and events that enrich their lives both professionally and personally. My volunteerism is a small way to give back to our OHIO community."
