OHIO Guarantee tuition program receives chancellor approval
The chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents has approved Ohio University's new tuition guarantee program – named The OHIO Guarantee – setting in motion plans for a new transparent and predictable tuition structure to begin effective with the 2015-16 academic year.
Lancaster Campus advisor receives University College award
Ohio University Lancaster Student Support Advisor Phyllis Lanier was recently selected by the University College Dean and the University Academic Advising Council to receive a 2014 Chapman/Clapp Award for Excellence in Advising.
Summer Institute for Diversity Education registration online
The Summer Institute for Diversity Education (SIDE) will take place May 13 to 16. SIDE is a 30-hour curriculum seminar for Ohio University students, faculty and staff and community members to learn about diversity education and inclusiveness.

Night in Athens … Pittsburgh AND New York City!
Ohio University's "A Night in Athens…" is a chance for alumni to enjoy each other's company at their home away from OHIO. "A Night in Athens…in Pittsburgh" will take place at the Fairmont Hotel on May 7 at 6:30 p.m.
Highlights of the evening include Athens-inspired food and beverages, music, photos from the past, and most importantly, the company of fellow Bobcats. President Roderick J. McDavis, BSED '70, will be speaking at the event and then mingling with alumni. Register now at ohioalumnireception.org.

31st Annual State Government Alumni Luncheon
Hosted by President Roderick J. McDavis on behalf of the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, this event honors more than 150 OHIO alumni involved in service to the State of Ohio. The event will be held on May 13 at The Athletic Club, located at 136 East Broad St. in Columbus.
The event will kick-off with a Social at 11:30 a.m., immediately followed by a Luncheon from noon-1:30 p.m. For more details, click here.

'Kiss Me, Kate' at The Monomoy Theatre
Join fellow OHIO alumni and friends in the picturesque Cape Cod town of Chatham, MA, June 27-29 for the 57th Annual Monomoy Weekend. The season opener, "Kiss Me, Kate," will be performed by the Ohio University Players.
A Friday reception with University leadership will be held at the beautiful Chatham Bars Inn. A Saturday reception and dinner will take place at Ellie Baker Pavilion near the Theatre before curtain at 8 p.m. Chatham Bars Inn will welcome guests and student actors and crew to a Sunday farewell brunch. Making Tracks to Tampa, Florida
Calling all Tampa Area Bobcats! Join fellow Bobcats for a Reception and Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Game on May 10. OHIO Alumni will team up in Tampa and attend the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Cleveland Indians baseball game.
Prior to the game, there will be an OHIO Alumni Reception on the Tiki Deck at Ferg's Sports Bar with complimentary appetizers and cash bar. The cost is $25, which covers the ticket and reception fee. Click here to register online.
