A note for alumni from the Career & Leadership
My name is Imants Jaunarajs and I want to introduce you to the new Career & Leadership Development Center (CDLC).
During the summer of 2012, the Division of Student Affairs merged two departments; Career Services and the Amanda J. Cunningham Leadership Center, for the purpose of being better equipped to serve all OHIO alumni/ae and student's professional development needs in a comprehensive and holistic manner. As our new team of experts was assembled, a strategic plan put in place, the CLDC is available to provide services and resources that can help at any point in an alumni's career development.
Among the numerous services and resources provided by the CLDC, I would like to highlight a service alumni will find helpful -- career coaching. CLDC career coaches are ready to assist with any type of professional concerns: job search, networking, interviewing, resume/cover letter, career transition, career options, etc. Coaching appointments are 30 minutes in length and can be conducted by phone or in-person. Career coaching appointments are confidential, free, and personalized to each individual's needs. Alumni can make a career coaching appointment by calling 740-593-2909.
Additional information can be found at ohio.edu/careerandleadership/.
I welcome future conversations with you and Go Bobcats!
