Stigall takes a much closer look at species evolution

Picture a world before the continents as we know them, when most of the land mass was south of the equator. Then picture ice caps forming over the southern pole. As the ice caps form, the ocean recedes and local, isolated environments form, and in those shallow marine environments, new species develop.

Alumni invited to participate in Bobcat Mentorship Network

The new Bobcat Mentorship Network is an easy-to-use platform where OHIO students seek guidance, and alumni, faculty and staff coach students in their professional development.  Mentors and mentees can apply to participate in the Bobcat Mentorship Network by Sept. 16, and are expected to be paired, based on their mutual professional interests, on Sept. 23.

2019 Black Alumni Reunion is Sept. 12-15

A signature OHIO alumni event held every three years, BAR welcomes home the University’s black alumni and friends Sept. 12-15 for a weekend full of opportunities to reconnect with one another. Online registration continues through Sept. 6.

A new three-course Online Certificate in Data Analysis is designed for recent college graduates and working professionals without prior background in statistics and computer programming. The program starts in spring 2019.
