Seeking alumni from all majors for college awards

The College of Arts & Sciences is seeking nominations for the Notable Alumni Award to recognize outstanding alumni who have broad accomplishments in their careers, a commitment to community service, and involvement at Ohio University.

More than 25 outstanding alumni — from across the Arts & Sciences departments and majors — will be honored at the dinner and induction ceremony on Oct. 25.

As Lisa Cohen, director of external relations, shared in previous years, the College of Arts & Sciences’ Distinguished Alumni Program recognized careers and service achievement to honor only a few alumni among many who were so deserving of recognition. Our reimagined program celebrates alumni success in careers, communities and service to the college and encourages engagement among those who desire more meaningful involvement with students and faculty.
