On behalf of the College of Arts & Sciences, I would like to ask for your help. We are seeking Arts & Sciences alumni with your background and experience to help our students hone their networking skills — Bobcat style.

The college is hosting our third annual Arts & Sciences Career and Networking week Jan. 28 to Feb. 2. Alumni Day is Jan. 31, and the feature event is an Alumni-Student Networking Reception. If you’ve already signed up, thank you!

We are planning for over 250 Arts & Sciences students to attend the Networking Reception based on the interest and success of past networking receptions, and we want to make sure we have alumni from all majors to help our students practice their one-on-one networking skills.

Here are the details:

Alumni & Student Networking Reception

Alumni RSVP
3:30 to 6 p.m.: Come early for resume review, Baker University Center Ballroom.
4:30 to 7 p.m.: Reception in Baker University Center Ballroom
Free hors d’oeuvres
Free LinkedIn photos

Come for a while or stay the whole time, whatever fits your schedule.

Ways to engage and connect

Bring your business cards
Bring company literature to share with students
Promote summer internships and jobs
Update your professional LinkedIn photo for free at our LinkedIn station
Review resumes and offer networking tips
Tell fellow Bobcats about this event
Expand your own Bobcat network
