Message from the Dean | Thank you to alumni who networked with students

Welcome to the spring issue of Engage! Thank you to all the Arts & Sciences alumni who traveled to Athens to participate in our first-ever College of Arts & Sciences Career and Networking Week. We are eager to provide these types of experiences to current Bobcats. More.

Can you help? Want to get involved?

The Bobcat alumni network is incredibly productive in giving OHIO students a great start on successful career paths. If you could benefit from access to Bobcat career services, or if you know of internship opportunities or want to help your department support students, there are many ways to get involved, both in Athens and from afar. If you’re interested in connecting with the department, educational enrichment, networking, or coming to campus, contact Lisa Cohen.

About 15 percent of Americans live in rural counties. While rural America offers many opportunities, it also faces unique and difficult challenges in sustaining its economic base and providing quality healthcare and other social services.
