Chicago Networking Week

We are pleased to announce Chicago Networking Week, March 22 – 25! The OHIO Alumni Association and the Chicago Chapter will be hosting this opportunity to connect with alumni in the Chicago area to learn about life after graduation.

Hotel charges will include a three-night stay, with four guests to a room or two guests to a room. The cost will be $150 (if roomed with three other students) and $300 (if roomed with one other student). Roommate preferences will be taken during registration.

Transportation to and from Chicago and all meals will be $75 a person.

All students who register for Chicago Networking Week are required to attend a pre-program information meeting. Please mark your calendar for this mandatory info session on Tuesday, March 14 at 7:30 PM in Schoonover Center 145.

Wednesday, March, 22

  • Students travel to Chicago (after 4:30 p.m.)

Thursday, March 23

  • 9 a.m. – Breakfast and Introduction Session
  • 11 a.m. – Company Visits
  • 1 – 2:30 p.m. – Informal Lunch
    • Note: This is a great time to set up individual meetings with personal contacts in Chicago
  • 3 p.m. – Panel Discussions (Alumni Life in Chicago)
  • 5 p.m. – Student-Alumni Networking Reception

Friday, March 24

  • 8:30 a.m. – Continental breakfast
  • 10:30 a.m. – Company visits
  • 1 p.m. – Lunch featuring a keynote address by alumnus Jeff Cogan '94, LinkedIn's Director of Talent Solutions-Large Enterprise Management
  • 3 p.m. – Panel Discussions (Issues Impacting Chicago)
  • 6 p.m. – Dinner with 12 Strangers across Chicago
    • Hosts include:
